Short-term

 - Fix reported bugs

Medium-term

 - Modify the Makefile and configuration code to make sure JavaGDBM
   builds on more different systems.

 - Add support for non-default block sizes and other options.

 - Offer more developer documentation.

Long-term

 - Rewrite the native code in Java to make the system 100% Pure.
 - Offer precompiled binaries(?)
