Features:
- Fully implemented in Objectworks\Smalltalk
  (ArtBASE is delivered with source code)

- ArtBASE extents Smalltalk of persistency. Persistent objects are handled the
  same way as transient objects.

- Optimistic and pessimistic concurrency control.
